REFRACT
REFRACT is a queer art platform based in Trondheim, Norway, founded by Hylja Dragsta Häninger and Emmanuel Hølaas in 2026.
The platform brings together artists across disciplines and borders, creating opportunities for exhibitions, collaborations, and new artistic dialogue. Rather than focusing on formal backgrounds or established careers, REFRACT values artistic relevance, experimentation, and authentic voices.
Inspired by the concept of refraction—the way light changes direction when passing through different materials—REFRACT explores how art can shift perspectives and challenge the way we see the world.

BODIES WE BORROW
REFRACT / TRONDHEIM
REFRACT's inaugural exhibition, Bodies We Borrow, will be presented during Trondheim Pride in September 2026.
Bringing together artists from different backgrounds and disciplines, the exhibition explores identity, transformation, and the many ways we experience the body through queer perspectives.
