“Do you see?-an art exhibition

For more than a year, I worked towards this exhibition, and it has been an incredibly rewarding journey. My goal was never simply to recreate each person with photographic accuracy. More importantly, I wanted to capture something of who they are.

Photographing each participant gave me the opportunity to spend time with them, and the conversations we shared became an important part of the creative process. Those encounters stayed with me throughout every drawing.

These portraits are my interpretations of people who, each in their own way, have had a meaningful impact on my life. The fact that they said yes, and that they considered it an honour to be portrayed by me, is a recognition I deeply value. It reminds me that I am exactly where I am meant to be as an artist.
